Diary of a building project

We gave the customer a single storey extension which meant demolishing an existing coal shed and lean-to. In just 8 weeks we created a downstairs cloakroom, re-laid and extended the patio, created hard standing for cars, fully fitted the kitchen and re-decorated the hallway of this customer's house in Bromley.

In the beginning: An old coal shed and lean-to, and a patio that needed to be replaced.

At the end of day one. Coal shed and lean-to demolished, old flagstones lifted, and 400 cubic metres of soil dug up. Thank goodness for mechanical diggers!

Ground started to be evened out to allow for digging of new foundations, and re-laying new patio tiles.

New RSJ installed, plus new fully insulated roof.

The finished article. 8 weeks from start to finish. By working on one project at a time we can get the job done more quickly, which means a lot less disruption for the customer.

By using our laser calibrated tools we could ensure that the new patio was properly laid with drainage that was millimetre perfect.

Interior of kitchen fitted out to customer’s specifications, including all electrics, plumbing, plastering and decorating, new back door, kitchen windows, and velux window in ceiling, plus fitting a new laminate floor.
